Would you like to participate in the AthensCon 2026 Artist Alley?
Please complete the application form below after carefully reading the following terms and guidelines.
Who Can Apply
The AthensCon Artist Alley is open to both professional and amateur comic creators, illustrators, designers, visual artists, and comic book writers.
Applications are reviewed based on the overall quality of the applicant’s work and portfolio.
Selection Priority
Priority will be given to creators who, during 2025–2026, have:
- officially published a comic, graphic novel, artbook, sketchbook, or other printed work through a publishing company; or
- self-published their own work.
If your publication will make its debut at AthensCon 2026, you must send a preview/sample to info@athenscon.gr and guarantee that the publication will be available at your Artist Alley table during the event.
If, during a verification process, the declared publication is found not to be available, the creator may be disqualified from participating in future AthensCon Artist Alley events.
Applications
Applications will be accepted until August 30, 2026.
Once the application period has ended, the organizing team will review all submissions and contact only the selected applicants with further information regarding the next steps.
Ineligible Applications
Applications from creators whose artwork has been produced using Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools will not be accepted.
The AthensCon Artist Alley is dedicated exclusively to creators of original artistic work. Therefore, it is not intended for exhibitors whose primary activity is the production of handmade crafts such as jewelry, figures, decorative items, or similar products.
If your work falls into this category, you are welcome to apply for a regular exhibitor table through the Exhibitor Application Form.
Important Information
Submitting an application does not guarantee participation in the Artist Alley.
Due to the high number of applications received each year, available spaces are limited.
AthensCon reserves the right to reject or cancel any application or participation at its sole discretion and without obligation to provide further explanation.
