Torunn Grønbekk WILL BE AT OUR CONVENTION ON DECEMBER 2ND & 3RD OF 2023
Torunn Grønbekk is a Norwegian comic book writer who has established herself as one of the most exciting voices in the American comics industry in recent years. Her writing has garnered critical acclaim for its strong character work and nuanced storytelling, exploring themes of identity, trauma, and relationships. Grønbekk has worked on several prominent titles including “Valkyrie: Jane Foster” and “Captain Marvel” for Marvel Comics and “Batgirl” for DC Comics.
Her latest project sees her continuing to push boundaries as a writer, with contributions to the “Carnage: Black, White & Blood” series at Marvel Comics. In this horror-themed series, Grønbekk brings her unique perspective to one of Marvel’s most notorious villains, delivering chilling stories that explore the darkest aspects of human nature. Her writing has been praised for adding depth and complexity to the Carnage character, and she continues to showcase her versatility and talent as a writer. She currently is writing the new Carnage series with artist Pere Perez.
