Kathy Tsourlaki spent – fortunately – all her childhood and adolescence in Anna Mailli’s painting workshop, where her mother enrolled her right before she turns 5 years old. This is where she met and loved creative expression with diverse materials and textures. And just like that, until today, she illustrates using watercolors, pens, pencils and colored pencils, while her pen tablet rests unused in the drawer. She studied Graphic Design at the University of Western Attica as well as Screen Printing at the Askardamykti Learning Center. She often illustrates the stories of her favourite writer Elisavet Fotopoulou. During the last years she makes comic books, having created 4 self-publishments.
