At AthensCon, we believe that team members play a crucial role in the success of an event like this. We are therefore excited to offer an opportunity for anyone who wants to become part of our team and help ensure the smooth running of the festival. Team members must be 17 years or older. Applications are accepted ONLY online through the interest form linked below.
The first wave of selected applicants will be notified by November 15th 2025. Selected members should be available for a short video call with the organizers.
What we expect from team members:
Politeness, friendliness, and a spirit of collaboration with all team participants and AthensCon staff.
Respect towards visitors, colleagues, and guests.
Respect for the materials and products of the event and exhibitors.
Compliance with decisions made by event supervisors.
Completion of assigned duties to the best of their ability.
Timely notification if unable to participate.

We ask team members to provide their services for at least two 6-hour shifts during the three days of AthensCon. All members must wear comfortable clothing, shoes, and the AthensCon t-shirt, which will be provided by the organizers. The t-shirt may not be worn during breaks or outside the venue. Team members are must focus on their duties and not use constantly their cameras or phones during their shift.
Participation is also welcome during the setup days of the event!

There is a secure storage area, but AthensCon is not responsible for lost items.
We recommend bringing only essential items.
Will members have to pay for autographs?
Members are entitled to one or more free autograph from our special guests via the Loot Bag.
Some artists may charge for items they sell.
Can members participate in panels and workshops?
Yes, but only when they are not on their shift.
