Humberto Ramos is a Mexican comic book artist known for his work on Impulse, Runaways, The Spectacular Spider-Man, The Amazing Spider-Man, and his creator-owned series Crimson. Ramos began his career in 1989 at Kaboom Cómics and gained attention with DC Comics’ Impulse written by Mark Waid in 1995. In 1998, he co-founded the Cliffhanger imprint with Joe Madureira and J. Scott Campbell, where he launched his titles Crimson and Out There. When he left Cliffhanger he started working with Marvel on Peter Parker: Spider-Man and launched The Spectacular Spider-Man. Ramos also created Revelations for Dark Horse Comics in 2005 and worked on titles such as Wolverine, Runaways, and The Amazing Spider-Man. In 2016, he co-created The Champions with writer Mark Waid.
