Guillem March, was born in Mallorca is a self-taught Spanish comic book artist and illustrator known for his versatile work across various genres, from children’s stories to erotica. He first gained attention in the Mallorcan comic scene with strips for a university newspaper, and later won several Artjove awards. March’s early work included Fan Fight Force and collaborations with Ediciones Dolmen, where he skillfully blended influences from manga, superheroes, and American comics.
March is best known for his work with DC Comics, where he has illustrated iconic characters such as Batman and Catwoman. His notable contributions include Gotham City Sirens, Detective Comics, and Catwoman (Rebirth), as well as the special Poison Ivy issue and the two-part story in Detective Comics #851 and Batman #684. In addition to his work with DC, he has created graphic novels for European publishers, such as Monika (written by Thilde Barboni) and The Dream (with Jean Dufaux), published by Dupuis and Europe Comics. In 2022 he published with image his creator owned work titled Karmen.
March’s career has spanned both the European and American markets, with recent projects for Marvel Comics, including work on Wolverines. His distinctive style, influenced by artists like Neal Adams and Milo Manara, has made him one of the most recognizable names in the comic book industry today.
