Fabio Celoni was born in 1971 in Italy. In 1989 he graduated from the School of Comics & illustration of Milan and in the same year he designed his first professional pages for the series ‘I Fantastici 3 Supermen’ for Star Comics. Later in 1990 he began his collaboration with Walt Disney. His first story was “I tre porcellini e la fata del bosco” (The three little pigs and the fairy forest) published in 1991. At age 19 and with this story he became the youngest designer who published his work in the weekly “Topolino”.
In the following years he continued his collaboration with Disney, a partnership that holds to this day. In 2000 he started working with Bonelli for “Dylan Dog”. He was awarded with the “Galeone d’Oro” for the story that he designed and wrote “Il vecchio che legge” (The old man reading).
In 2014 he won the triple “Galeone d’Oro” (best script, best design and best version Dylan Dog 2014 with the history of the “I raminghi dell’autunno” (autumn browsers) published in Dylan Dog No. 333. In 2015 he published in Topolino the story titled “Lo strano caso del dottor Ratkyll e di mister Hyde” (the strange case of Dr. Ratkyl and Mr. Hyde), with which he will win the Papersera 2015 award as best Disney designer of the year. In his career he has won many awards and has participated in over 30 exhibitions in Italy and Europe.
