Sunday, December 7 – Japanese City Pop Experience
On Sunday, the AthensCon Stage will be immersed in the characteristic sounds of Japanese City Pop. The distinct ‘80s aesthetic, groovy rhythms, and funky melodies will create a relaxing and dreamy atmosphere, turning the anticipation of the contest results into a colorful and emotional musical experience.

A Few Words About Tasos Dapantas
The well-known Greek voice actor and expert in Japanese culture, Tasos Dapantas, is preparing a musical experience that will transport the audience straight to the heart of Japan.
Since 2013, through the iconic Anime Parties of Greek Otaku Radio, he has brought together and energized the anime community across Greece, offering unforgettable moments of fun and excitement.
In 2025, in collaboration with the Embassy of Japan, Tasos Dapantas curated the music for the Natsu Matsuri festival, bringing the pulse and magic of Japanese tradition to the visitors through his unique Japanese City Pop selections.
With his deep knowledge of the Japanese music scene and his dynamic stage presence, he is creating a one-of-a-kind experience filled with rhythm, emotion, and authentic Japanese atmosphere — an experience no fan of Japanese culture should miss.
