Aimee Garcia is an American actress and writer, known for her roles on television and in film. She gained recognition for her performances as Veronica Palmero on George Lopez, Jamie Batista on Dexter—for which she earned a SAG Award nomination—and Ella Lopez on Lucifer. Garcia’s other notable TV roles include Yvonne Sanchez on Vegas, Marisa Benez on Trauma, and Maria on Greetings from Tucson.
In film, she starred alongside Jessica Simpson in Major Movie Star (2008), had a supporting role in D-War (2007), and narrated Adam Sandler’s Spanglish (2004). She also played Dr. Jae Kim in the RoboCop (2014) reboot.
Garcia has ventured into writing, co-authoring the comic series GLOW vs. The Babyface and Dungeons & Dragons: At the Spine of the World with AJ Mendez. Together, they co-founded Scrappy Heart Productions, focusing on diverse storytelling. Garcia also co-wrote the screenplay for the Netflix film Blade of the 47 Ronin (2022) and voiced Alex Gonzalez in the animated series Dragons: The Nine Realms from 2021 to 2023. Currently she is writting Day of the Dead Girl mini series for Magma Comix.
