Tasmar was born in Syros island of Greece in 1977. He has been creating comic books and illustrations since 1998. His work has been printed and presented in various magazines, newspapers and websites in Greece and abroad. In 2012 his comic book, Hard Rock, presented at the Berlin International Literature Festival, as part of Graphic Novel Day.
In 2019 he was the honored artist of Comicdom Con Athens 2019.
In November of 2021 his book Hard Rock – School, Drugs & Rock N’ Roll was published in Italy by Edizioni Mesogea.
He lives in Athens with his cat and he’s trying to survive while creating pictures and comics.
